Zone Alarm Licensing Anyone Else Having Issues With AVG Anti-Virus Free 8?

Anyone else having issues with AVG Anti-Virus Free 8? - zone alarm licensing

So I've updated the free version of AVG Anti-Spyware to 8 and it was not holding an option to 7.5 and to receive updates. It will not scan. No matter if I run one of the selected files or a scheduled scan I scan. It will not scan. I think it is very annoying - more than he. Anyone else have problems? I rebooted and reinstalled several times without success. Therefore, they do not renew the license with ZoneAlarm Pro - boring!

Also, if someone other freeware recommendations, which would be more useful. Thank you!
