Lymphoma Treatment What Does Treatment For Hodgkin's Lymphoma Involve?

What does treatment for Hodgkin's lymphoma involve? - lymphoma treatment

Could a non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (diagnosis no evidence ... yet) and have wondered what is actually treatable? Is it something that stays in the hospital months should be? I would like to hear someone in possession of employees. I read on this radiation / chemotherapy / etc ... is about, but I would like information about where you to treatment (Hospital / Dr. Office?) And how long did it (she has all day been? "The whole week? ask for a couple hours?) assistance.

I had Hodgkin's Lymphoma, I had non-Hodgkin's, but first there was talk of having to stay in the hospital for my first chemo. I felt so bad, I would, because I had 4 kids at home waiting for me.

Depending on your treatment or stay in the hospital. It also depends on how your body reacts to the chemotherapy. My aunt had Hodgkin's lymphoma and was in and out of the hospital for treatment.

The chemo was the whole day. But my first treatment longer. I was the last to leave ... with nurses. I was 5 years drug injected into my body. A drug that is approximately 5 hours, because the bomb they were to see how they reacted. Finally, they were able to 3-pump.

Good luck and stay positive, ... to be there.

Chemotherapy can be performed in an outpatient surgery, radiation can also be an outpatient basis, usually in a hospital. Given by the chemotherapeutic agents may take several hours. When I went, there was a television and comfortable chairs to read a book or to bring to videos on a laptop if you wish. Some people sleep during chemotherapy or visit with other patients, the treatment.

I went to a place like those mentioned above and tend to visit other patients, because the TV reception was not very good.

I had been diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin's lymphoma and 14 (5 years) was 6 months of chemotherapy without radiation. My chemotherapy is administered in an outpatient, but I want to stay in hospital when I'm with infection or rare side effects, etc.
My infusions of chemotherapy lasted several hours, and I went once every two weeks. In the clinic for children, so I basically just sitting in bed or on a chair watching TV and movies ... had some snacks, when hunger. The nurses gave me medicine for nausea and benadryll before administering chemotherapy. The reason infusions took so long because I am in a combination of drugs.
Hodgkin's lymphoma is very sociable and the cure is high, especially if diagnosed at an early stage of the disease. Good luck to you!

I was diagnosed at 05th He had 8 cycles of chemotherapy. I have stayed in hospital for a week each treatment, at intervals of three weeks. Some people treatment at the clinic, and they stay all day and return at night. Depending on the outcome, some people are later than others. I am now in remission. I was at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack is treated, HUMC is New Jersey's website, I was the principal investigator in the lymphoma is treated by my oncologist. Good luck and I hope you do not have the NHL. \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ U0026lt, 3
